Designated SAW/Machine Gun

So, I searched and couldn't find anything, is there a field rule that allows for higher FPS and applies a minimum engagement distance on a SAW, or any other rules in general regarding them?

Not that I know of. Around here the rule are usually 330 fps for any CQB, 400 fps for any fully or semi-auto outdoors and 550 fps for bolt actions.
One mag one kill.

you didn't search that hard then, because that specific debate comes up about every three or four months. the fps limits are as silentdawn stated, 330fps for CQC, 400fps for outdoors, and 550fps for bolt action platforms. modifications have been discussed time and again, but most likely will not change any time soon.

Some areas have higher limits for support weapons, it just depends on what area you play and who is putting on the game. When I went to Junk Yard Wars the limit was 450 FPS for support weapons. I think 400 FPS is plenty

PHPBB doesn't let you search for any character strings less than four characters, so I can't really search for "FPS" or "SAW", and I didn't see any saw related posts in the first three pages of AEG or Saftey.....so I asked.

I didn't know if everyone used the AP general rules, since the only real event I've been to that wasn't CQB was Junkyard Wars, and they had a different limit for SAWs.
