Last week, while Carpenter was jumping on a trampoline at his friend's house, his friend surprised him by pulling out an airsoft gun and shooting at him. The pellet hit Ethan directly in the eye.

Edit: I once told some kids who were playing airsoft in a PUBLIC park without eye protection that it was not a good idea to do so. Their parents actually told me the above quote. I didn't even try to bother with an argument.

Which actually reminds me of something that happened near my house...

My friend has just gotten in some deep trouble. Some of you may have met him at the zombie game. Well his brother (15 years of age) went to his room and found his Airsoft weapons opened the window and shot people in the face on full auto. The victims were severely bruised in the face God bless them they did not get hit in the eye. 6 Squad cars came to his house and arrested his brother. They confiscated his weapon. (Thank god the rest were at my house)

A 14-year-old "sniper" was arrested after perching in his attic with a BB gun and shooting two younger boys as they played in the street, Jersey City cops said.

The Delaware Avenue juvenile was charged with possession of a weapon for unlawful purposes and aggravated assault, reports said

The two boys - an 8-year-old from Oak Street and a 12-year-old from Delaware Avenue - were treated at the scene, reports said. The 8-year-old was hit in the face and the 12-year-old was hit in the right collarbone, reports said.

The father of the older boy said that his son and nephew had been playing outside Friday when the older boy started shooting from the attic at 1:30 p.m.

Police went to the house and found a Powerline Airsoft BB gun, pellets and a banana clip, reports said. The 14-year-old boy was taken into custody.
