i wear glasses, and i use these.

i found my uvexs..im tring to figure out where to get the rest of my gear (helmet. plate carrier)

we have a surplus store here in eugene/springfield called action surplus i check there every week. I bought a pair of dust goggles i want to know would they work for the time being?

Are they rated to stop an impact? If you don't know, shoot them from a foot away with the highest powered airsoft gun you have access too. If they stop the bb, great. If not, then they weren't rated, and weren't acceptable for airsoft. It is advisable to test all of your eyeprotection before you go into the field, to ensure your eyeballs are safe.

Thank you everyone with your knowledge. I greatly aprectiate it, when i started 2 years ago i was told the best bet is to get what i have (either a paintball mask, uvex saftey glasses, etc). The links helped me out alot.

Ok i got a other dumb question. My brother which plays airsoft for the state of KY, told that he uses a skateboard helmet while playing cqc. My question is are they bout the same as a tactical helmet or not?
