Safety kills

Hmmm... Safety kill is being able to shoot someone and safely not get shot yourself hehe

I don't know if "turning it off" would work, so many players already have it embedded in their brains - it's hard to change habits. Somebody would call it anyway, then get hosed from 5 feet away and complain about it.

I do agree that they are often used incorrectly. I've only ever called a safety kill when the person has their back turned and is within less than 10 feet of me. So many people want to whisper it like they have some kind of a ninja gun - you gotta yell it out, you are doing that in the place of shooting your gun, which is loud. If yelling it out would put you in a position to get killed by return fire from other enemies, then maybe a safety kill isn't a good idea at the time.
