Mine does, it has a removable neck guard.A scarf isnt the best idea.Go with a mouth peice.Snipers need to stop shooting 550 fps...

:) bwa ha ha (Mine only shoots 545 :D )

I always wear a balaclava and have been hit in the mouth a few times. No damage to my teeth, or fear of bb's "penetrating the soft spot in my neck".
Also, mesh doesn't fog! Invest in a pair of well-made mesh goggles if you don't want to worry about fogging. A mouthpiece is always a good idea if you're playing CQB, for larger games at farther ranges I tend to not wear one.

Seriously! It was right next to that little squishy spot at the base of your neck.

I use Shemagh and Revision goggles for field games, Iron Face half face mask, and same goggles for CQB games. Both are very effective on either scenarios based on my experience.

Doesn't have enough kinetic force to affect your throat/windpipe (hopefully). For me the top 5 things to protect while airsofting are eyes, ears, mouth, neck, and hands. If you wear a scarf, balaclava, or just a button-up shirt you shouldn't worry.

Squishy spot as in between the ends of your collarbones and slightly up?

Yeah, pretty sure a 550fps sniper with heavy rounds could penetrate that. No good way to test that though :(

I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

Skip to 5:44 on the video, I experienced the same thing (hit on the groin 3x) and it was a horrible experience...

I use one of those condor recon wraps. It's thin enough to breathe through comfortably and you can make it any shape you want. I've gotten shot in the mouth with it with no long-term ill effects.

holy...what the...why...who would...whaa? Thats about 700 FPS with a .2, correct me if I'm wrong. My pellet gun kills rodents with 750 FPS from almost 20 yards. Please do have a talk with him, sir.

I wouldnt count my eatin' tooth on a scarf, although they do look cool!
I use a mouthguard. I was once hit in the upper lip (w/o protection), and it hurt my poor whimpy skin real bad. But didnt damage my tooth.
The mouthguard also helps me because it forces me to talk less, and drool a little more.
