Sometimes i wonder how some people have spelling problems when they where born here and learned the language from day one , being a non English speaker when i got to the States it was easy to adapt and learn the language in a couple of months .

But that's exactly why native speakers are much worse at it grammatically. You learned it the right way when you came to America, because you cared. We grow up learning it wrong, because we don't.

The problem may be that you are 15 years old and they made the goggles to be worn by an adult. See if your parents have the same results as you.

I think you answered your own question. If they have large gaps in them, then obviously YES, they are unsafe. Ultimately it's going to come down to your face and how the goggles fit you. If they aren't a good fit, you should get something else.
