Flak Jak goggles not safe?

I blame it on the internet and texting. These two inventions have done more to destroy our ability to write than anything since the invention of the ink pen.

True, but without life we wouldn't have sex and alcohol, either. I like those things. Of course, most of the 15 year olds that shazaam up our language haven't discovered either one of those yet, either.

i blame child protection agency, and social services.

if i was able to beat the shit out of my kid for acting retarded, chances are after the third beating, they will get the fuckin picture.

The problem may be that you are 15 years old and they made the goggles to be worn by an adult. See if your parents have the same results as you.

I think you answered your own question. If they have large gaps in them, then obviously YES, they are unsafe. Ultimately it's going to come down to your face and how the goggles fit you. If they aren't a good fit, you should get something else.
