No price range. Full steel, Best internals/externals and compatibility. Easiest to work on/convenient.

RS>VFC or RMW/LCT/Inokatsu>D-Boys>G&G>CA>Cyma>TM

LCT has VFC internals with about the same quality of externals IMO. Overall, for realism Real Sword is the best but if you're upgrading I'd say an Inokatsu kit with upgraded TM internals.

Or buy a RS and beat the Cyma to death with it ;). They are stupid strong and eat Dboys and Cyma's for breakfast. With the tears of ICS and CA AKs as its morning drink.

I've owned a G&G and a Dboys. The G&G was freaking great, the Dboys was pretty good.
The CYMA (cm3x series and higher) AKs are pretty decent also, I've been in a couple and played with a few.

Cyma and G&G are favorite, Can't vouch for any other brand because I've never used any other brand.

Real Sword? Are they easy to work like VFC? Compatible with all parts? I want simplicity and strength.

In 4 years and 7 CYMA AKs, I've never seen one break. Even the loaner guns my team had, or the one that some kid used as a walking stick, barrel down, on a muddy hill. They're the energizer bunny.

I can't speak for its ease of working on since I've never had to take mine apart, but from the take down guide, seems as easy as any other AK to take down. I know it uses a different size gear box shell, but its pretty cheap should you some how manage to break it.

Also RW did a pretty good review on the Type 56, though the one thing I found different from theirs was mine was shooting 405 FPS (with .2gs) instead of 295 and didn't come with the thread adapter.

Cyma looks better is made with actually steel not monkey metal.
