Which Sight?

Postby Pancake » Tue Dec 29, 2009 2:50 pm

Edit: New question. I got a dot sight and the front iron sight is blocking it, I want to try and not get a Riser, so can I remove the front sight? Im not sure if its a good idea though because my rails can come off by pulling back on the D Ring(?) and just taking them off, so I think the front sight is what is allowing them to do that..

Sorry if thats confusing, it is kind of hard to explain. This is the gun I have if it helps:

Same thing, different dress. An ACOG style red-dot works just fine, its just kinda weird since it doesn't magnify.

That's actually pretty sweet.

I've always like the look of ACOGs but would of never gotten one for airsoft because of the magnification.

This is perfect for a Guccisofter.

Get the NC star version if you go with the first one.

I love mine to death.

The reflex will give you less obstruction of your view. I would also suggest the nc star because of the lifetime guarantee.

You should calibrate your iron sights and then just have the reticle sit on top of the sight post.

With both eyes open they should be focusing past the entire rifle and it won't be in the way.

if it does still bug you though, you could either hack off the front sight tower or get a front sight block with a flip up or no sight. if you remove the whole assembly though, its likely that your rail system would fall off.

Like one of these:

I have one to give away (I think I still have it) if you want it.

Yeah that would be nice if you still have it
