No, in my opinion it isn't. If the GB shell breaks (which it probably will...) there aren't any replacements.

Everything the third review says gives me the impression you would be better off buying a JG or Echo1 or CYMA M16/M4.

Great gun for the price! May need some repairs down the road. I've used mine HEAVILY for four months and its time for a repair/upgrade. Things that may wear out:

*Piston head's O-ring (mine got dislocated and bent, resulting in BBs shooting only 3 feet!)
*Air nozzle (mine chipped a little bit)
*spring guide (mine is fine, but it's cheap clear plastic)
*tappet plate (it's fine, but it's cheap clear plastic)

Besides the above, Gearbox is actually decent! This gun has the highest rate of fire and feet per second than any of my guns, (TM AUG, Well MP7)

Don't upgrade the spring over a 120! I'm leaving my spring stock, but if you decide to upgrade the spring, don't upgrade it much! The gearbox may not be able to take it. It's not reinforced. Also, the gearbox is LIKE a version 2 gearbox, but the motor is horizontal. There are no equivalents, this is a custom gearbox. I've heard that you can get an AUG gearbox in there with some modding, but I can't confirm this.

Hop up unit is unique to this gun, but you can get a m4 (two piece) hopup unit in there if you want![/b]

Accuracy is not perfect, but good enough. It's probably the hopup.

The barrel is said to be a 6.04 tightbore. I can't confirm that.

The high cap is perfect.

Other brand M4 mags need to be modded to click in all the way. They will feed but they will fall out without a mod. It's an easy mod, just use a dremel and take a bit off of the mag. (google it.)

Threads are clockwise. They are glued, but with some heat (propane torch) and some twisting you can unscrew the long barrel section for a short CQB barrel. be careful of the heat though. Too much will make your barrel shrink!

The JG G3 creaks more than old people.

If you want something solid thats a bit different (which I'm guessing is the case) why not a Dboys SCAR?

You really don't look 15 in that picture, duder.

Also, It's really up to your own personal preference. I hear goodthings about both guns, for the prices.
