Sr- 25 upgrades

Postby soccerspaz » Thu Jan 07, 2010 2:39 pm

I am looking into getting a classic army SR-25 that only has a laylax tightbore. I was wondering what else i should put in there to make it more of a dmr?

good hopup parts (nub and bucking) and a spring to put it at the max allowable velocity for your area, if its not already there. shoot at least .25g bbs out of it and you should be set.

if your gun shoots a consistent spread at the velocity you want it at, i wouldn't bother with anything inside the gearbox other than a spring. the hopup unit itself should be fine, id recommend either an H nub or a shredder nub, and the mad bull blue bucking.

Also what is the difference between a bore up kit and a non boreup kit?

a bore-up kit is a larger volume of air each shot via a cylinder and piston upgrade. Non-bore-up is just a regular cylinder, head, and piston-head
