Crane* stock issue.

Postby Deathlycobra » Mon Jan 11, 2010 9:11 pm

I just bought this airsoft gun that the battery is wired to the crane stock. The thing is that the gun is being a *explicative* and it is extremely hard to put the wire in the back. Help would be very appreciated.

Also the crane stock had a small "ukarms.com" sticker, I went there web address and it looks like complete garbage and it was no help.

EDIT: Link to stock, http://www.ukarms.com/Accessories/IU-CQ ... NSTOCK.htm , no help at all.

The stock on UKarms is the stock I am talking about. Battery setup is garbage. To many tight fits everywhere.

I've found that if you put the battery into the crane stock with the wires pointing toward the back of the inside of the stock, it makes it a lot easier.

Also, chances are that the crane stock has wire guide channels down the inside of the two side panels. It helps to make sure that your wires are in these channels.

Basically it is a HK416 style crane stock. I agree with Steve, you have to "round" the wires underneath the rubber pad..surely it is a pain in the neck to deal with the wires, then slam-shut the rubber pad to the stock.
Stars does make a HK416 crane battery, but it is very pricy ($50 or more), or you can get an E1 cranestock for lower price for less stress battery insert.
