ASGI G4-A3 Blowback AEG FPS Problems

Postby Trident_1-1 » Sat Jun 15, 2013 2:01 pm

My ASGI G4-A3 Blowback AEG said that it shoots at 370-400 FPS but when I got mine chronoed it was shooting at 430 FPS. Does anyone know how to get it down to 400 FPS? Or maybe make it a DMR? What should I do? It kinda sucks getting ripped off.

Fire a few high caps through it. The spring probably needs to get broke in is all.
When in doubt, empty the mag.

The only 100% guaranteed way to drop FPS is to change out the spring. I left a spring compressed 3 weeks and it dropped 5fps. I've shot probably millions of rounds with no drop in FPS. Changed the spring and had immediate results. I suggest you put in an m110 or m100 spring.

This.
Even my shitty Javelin stayed up around a consistent 400fps for the 8 months I used it and that was generally every weekend.
