Forty 5ive, I'm sorry to hear that. I plan on removing the front sight anyway. Did you have any other problems with the gun? Was its performance not up to snuff?

I own this AEG and my experience has been less than great. The front sight began to wobble after a few weeks and eventually became totally useless. The carry handle is detachable so you can attach optics to the rail. Maybe I bought a lemon, but given the chance to re-do it I would not buy this AEG again.

So, there should be a small alan screw underneath the front sight that'll allow you to tighten it up. I had the same issue with mine. I think it's a 1.5mm or a 2mm screw. Make sure it's lined up before you tighten it. May take some tries.

I've had two CA M15A4s that were probaly 5+ years old when I acquired them. I've only had to replace normal wear and tear internals(tappet plates, buckings, etc). That's with play once or twice a month and not cleaning or anything like that. They're some of the more dependable guns I've used.

Buying a gun used and then complaining of it breaking soon after or buying the cheap version of said rifle new and having the similiar issues isn't a good review.

Thanks for the tip, Miker1st! I'm planning on buying a pair of MadBull buckings to go along with the M15A4.
Another question. How do I take out the two pins that are also holding on the front sight without using a hammer? I've seen some stories...

I've always used a hammer with either a punch or an allen key. I've taken the front off mine about 20 times when swapping between the FSP and a different style rail that used a gas block.
I've not had any issues with it.

Thanks! What exactly does a gas block do?

Edit: Never mind, should have googled it.

The wobble is cause by a crack in the bracket that attaches the front sight to the barrel. Which i thought was strange considering my CA is from the full metal pro-line. The crack eventually grew into a break and now my front sight is pretty much useless for anything past 10m.

It is as tough as a brick shit house. Im sure it will continue to work in even 5 years (i bought it several years ago). So reliabily and performance are not a probelm at all. Im just pissed that the front sight on a $300+ AEG would break (I have always been gentle with it so it was not my fault, I think some of the metal parts are made with shit pot metal).

I absolutely love my KM16! My CA was pretty cool too, but I'd go with the KM16. Unless of course you are playing CQB.
