KWA mags problem

Postby Nark » Mon Jul 01, 2013 1:00 pm

Hey guys
I was wondering if any of you were having this problem with your KWA 120 midcaps. When I use them with my SOCOMgear M4 they will sometimes just fall out and at others it's possible to rock them forward and then pull them out without hitting the mag release. I wonder if it's a VFC thing or something more specific.

I use them on various KWA guns I have and they fit great. I also use it on my G&G 418 and they are some what loose but never fall out....

In have a vfc m4 e series and use kwa 120s. Love em but have two issues.
1. I usually have to give them a good slap to get them to lock in place. Once the are in they don't wobble which is good.
2. The are really picky on the quality of bb. I find if I use cheap bbs they jam.

The magazine latch on the mag or the size of the cut-out is probably the culprit.

Hmmm, I've tried giving them a good slap but that hasn't helped, maybe I need to get a new mag release. That might fix it.

Putting some electrical tape around the mag will give it a tighter fit in the magwell. Also looks tactical. That's what I use for mags in my VFC.

All my equipment, ((Mags and guns)) Filled with sand when I played on a private beach, and I had no issues with my K120s at all. However my Kingarms Polymer mags needed a good smack now and then.

I know that when my teammate tested them in his VFC 416, they did not fit. The latches holes are in different spots, and I think the VFC is pretty precise with where the latch wants to go.
