Broken Piece

Postby Jmonday » Sat Aug 03, 2013 9:42 am

I think it's called,"Forward Assist". Well, It broke off recently and was wondering if It was vital part? I'll give you specs on my gun.

G&G GR16 Tan Combat Machine M4 Airsoft Rifle Non-Blowback

I'm thinking it does nothing, but just wondering. Any help? :D

Here's some pictures of it. I'm thinking about just super gluing it :)

On most AEGs it does nothing. Super glue it if you want. Or leave it off...

It does look better with it off. I'm torn...

on some of the G&G's it is used to release the anti reversal latch and release the spring. On most other guns it does nothing. There is a pin that should hold it in.

I've had one missing and a .45 empty crammed in there fit and held, and looked good for a replacement.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

Haha. Yeah, I think I'm gonna leave it how it is. More pew-pew aiming with it off.

If you don't have the spring, just glue it in and call it good. It shouldn't bother you, but if you really want to leave it out and leave a hole in your gun, go for it.
