AEG Spring Strength

Postby JustAStick » Tue Oct 01, 2013 7:34 am

Last time I went to an airsoft event my gun was firing too hot for the field, around 420 fps. I want to downgrade the spring to something weaker but I'm not sure which one to get. I would like my gun to fire around 380 fps and I dont want to risk it being read as firing above 400. What spring should I get?

My gun is an AGM m416 with a type 2 gear box.

You'll want less than an M120. Not all companies make an M115, so the next step would often be an M110, such as Modify.

SHS rates theirs with .25g, so there are some inconsistencies in brand. A 115 should do it though. If the gun is new it might 'settle' and lose that 20 fps.
I'm the osiris of this.
