Elite Force M4a1 and CQB

Postby Jmonday » Mon Dec 23, 2013 7:46 pm

So, recently, I was looking on AirsoftOutletNw, and Airsoft Gi's website, and I came across the Elite Force series. Basically, I was just wondering if Elite Force is a decent manufacturer of guns? I know they make good BB's and a few pistols, and is owned by Umarex. But has anyone had any experience with either gun? The reviews seem good, and YouTube videos are somewhat positive about it. But has anyone actually used it? I mean, for $200 it seems good for the price.

Thanks.

Have you come up with a list of pros and cons?

AFAIK, Elite Force doesn't make anytime. I think they're another rebrander. I sadly can't provide anymore insight as I've never cared to look into them.

For that price you can get a G&G combat machine which has a great track record.

There's also APS which I've heard good things about. They come with a full metal body and blowback.
[shameless plug] I have a brand new one for sale [/shameless plug]

KWA has a plastic bodied M4 for around that price range that's good as well.

Yeah, I've been looking at the KWA's. I have a G&G and want to explore and expand the range of makers. I've never used an APS before. :?

The pros out-way the cons. But I'm just double checking on the Forums, to see if anyone has had experience with the guns hands on.

I've heard terrible things about the APS AK rifles. ASGI and Evike, and maybe even Airsplat liquidated their inventory because they were so bad and did not want to warranty them.

I agree with you on this I have heard terrible things about APS, but some stores still have them in stock. when you look the reviews up on ASGI you see mostly 2 or 3 star reviews and that is not just for their Aks. Also their Glock look alike pistol, sniper rifle, and etc they do not seem to have a very good track record.

ASGI and Airsplat have warranty's on the Elite Force M4's. I'm thinking it's good if they have warranty's for them.

I do have a Elite Force CQB gun. I gotta admit it is actually very good for CQB and mid-range distance. It shoots at a 350 FPS and fairly accurate. It also comes with 2 high caps. It was also good for the price if you do CQB.

APS makes some of the best externals Ive ever seen. Plus their guns come with a basic MOSFET and a QD spring gearbox. But if you want internal performance you will have to replace most of the internals. Its a good base for a full custom build but you will have to spend more than $200 to do it right.

I know I'm going to take a bunch of shit for this but here we go. I own an APS UAR and an APS ACP 601. The UAR is a great rifle once Jesse modded the bucking to work right. Its very rugged externally and has cool features like three magazine releases, four QD mounts, quad rail and quick change spring.

As far as the APS ACP 601 goes. This pistol rocks, I don't care what anybody says. I talked it up on Chowdbergs thread about Glock pistols already. So then I took it a step further. This weekend when it was snowing I put it in a plastic bag, left it outside overnight, in the morning I shot it. Was still able to get two and a half magazines out of one cartridge! BOOM!!! Let me see your fancy kwa pistol do that. Cool things include glow in the dark sites that stay glowing for over an hour. Lanyard hole and the front of the trigger guard is flat to accept more light choices. As far as looks go, I carry a real Glock everyday and the weight and feel is eerily similar.

I would like to suggest the King Arms M4a1. For $180 you can get full metal/ no RAS/RIS or plastic recievers w/ RIS

KA makes some solid guns. I haven't had an issue with mine. Cosmos has one as well and IIRC, his has been trouble free as well.

Their externals look LOADS better than JG too.

You'd be a smart man to buy this gun. It's been on sale for a while.

Or if you want something different that shoots 400 fps out of the box, I have had mine for 2 years and no problems
Note you can find it cheaper elsewhere

Or you could get this cool looking m4 that shoots around 350
