VFC Defender

I found this gun for sale which I hear it's really good. It's a VFC Defender

Now I know the RIS rails are great, but this does not come with them, although it looks like you can attach something. My idea is to put a vertical grip. Do you think any grip will be compatible with this gun, or that type of rail requires something different?

Those are just rail covers, to make it more comfortable to handle.

Under them is a RIS, so basically all attachments will work for you

There's not that much room for a vertical grip on an AEG with that barrel length, you don't really need it. I'd suggest something with a longer barrel if you want a versatile platform for indoor / outdoor. That's a tiny inner barrel length, won't be very accurate.

Yeah that will be a future upgrade if i get this gun. The reason why I'm considering it, is because it's a very good gun, according to reviews, and it comes with a bunch of goodies, such as lipo batteries, charger, magazines, case and sling. So far it's going for only 200 bucks on ebay, and the gun alone new it's 350 bucks.

So the lipo batteries that come with this gun deal are

Voltage 7.4 2a
Mah 2000
Cont. 15c
Burst 30c

So what exactly do these numbers mean, and what advantages will I see?

A typical lipo voltage is 7.2 or 11.1, but some guns aren't sturdy enough internally to handle 11.1. Not sure about the VFC since I haven't handled one, but in this case the 7.2 is a safe battery to have.

Voltage 7.4 (Power of battery. Higher voltage stronger battery)
Mah 2000 (how much storage the battery has, bigger the number longer it lasts also can mean a bigger physical battery)
Cont. 15c (the discharge rate of the battery)
Burst 30c (same as above but what the battery can burst to on a discharge)

Think I have it right, but I'm sure someone will correct me if I'm wrong
