ASG M60 Mk43 Commando

Postby tucansam21 » Sat Feb 15, 2014 2:42 pm

Does anyone have experience with this gun? Searched the forums and didn't find anything. I'm thinking of getting it and seems like kind of a steal as far as LMG's go.

This gun is the support gun for my Airsoft team, and it has not failed us yet. It is a lot of money, but you get what you payed for and then some.

Great to know thanks! Compared to the Star M249, its incredibly cheap lol which is why I was skeptical. Did you do any upgrading for it or just use it as is?

STAR still makes an M249? The STAR is crap and I say that from experience. Echo 1 makes the best affordable SAW if you have a preference for the model.

You should still go for the M60, though. They're way cooler.

I've been looking at american lmg platforms lately also. If you can spend the cash the Classic Army 249 is the way to go. Assuming your going for function over looks? Sam, please tell me that's what yer doing. If its looks id go stoner. But back to the 249, according to your friendly neighbourhood Jesse, the 249 is the work horse of the ameri-guns. Being that he's the guy that's brought back more steaming piles o' shit, I'm goin with him on this one.

Also I've talked to several owners of different guns (249,m60,240,mk23) and it seemed again that the CA 249 won there too.
I think Josh out at R&R is working on a sexy shorty 60, ask him, he's smart.

G&P Mk43. Do it right if you're going to do it.

Only upgrade we did to it was throw a lipo in the thing, and it was ready to go.

After looking around more I am thinking the CA or Echo. And yeah definitely function over looks, I just prefer metal to plastic. Thanks for the input guys

Call AONW on a day when Jesse is working, he'd be happy to give you the skinny

From the majority of the people I know that have owned the Stoner, I'd stay away.

but yeah, Classic Army, G&P(despite the proprietary box mag), and E1.
