KWA KM4 SR10 Battery

Postby r416alex » Thu Apr 03, 2014 6:53 pm

Hello I was wondering if there was any stock that could fit on the KWA Full Metal KM4 SR10 that could hold a Tenergy High Output 10.8V 5000mAh Ni-MH Large Type Battery. I already got the gun from another sight.

A full stock might fit it, but it'd be a tight fit. I couldn't squeeze a similar size in my G&P M16 full stock... Speaking from experience, those batteries are not worth the price point.

Lipos in the buffer tube would be a much better option. Smaller, cheaper, steady discharge, less power lost over time, the list goes on. (Yes, Lipos are safe for your gun) You will need a lipo charger, but you can get 2 lipos and a charger for the price of that battery.

I will third the lipo suggestion. Personally I run 7.4s.

I actually run the 10.8 volt 5000 mah Tenergy, on a P90! Obviously it doesn't fit in the stock, I run it in a separate battery bag that I attached to my tac vest. It barely fits in the bag, had to use duct tape to keep it in there. I also extended the wire harness so I can still move the gun from one shoulder to the other.

This battery is specifically made to fit the KWA crane stocks, and provide the most power that KWA recommends for their rifles (24 amps)
