Scorpion Evo real steel and airsoft questions

Postby The Murse » Wed May 14, 2014 6:21 pm

Hi Forums!

2 Quick Questions

1) When is the Release Date of the new ASG Scorpion? It looks like a really cool revolutionary gun.

2) Why did the Czeck's just make this real-steel gun? It looks cool but it seems to function just like an Mp5? It reminds me of the Scar-L phase, which sold real well (sarcasm).

-Elliot

ps: thanks in advance!

Real answer: It's been out for awhile. It's got rails, a fully removable stock (without tools) and alot of PD's in europe are needing to replace old Mp5's. And if you know anything about the Czecks, they love building guns, and they need the jobs/money.

Sarcastic answer: They saw it on COD and just had to have one. ;)

The real one is out. The Airsoft one comes out in June. It will retail at $450.

Ouch. It looks good and the internal design looks pretty solid, but 450$ is pretty steep for something that'll be mostly plastic.

1) Made in Denmark, and everything internally is CNC machined
2) Gearbox and parts combo are bulletproof. Will run an M170 stock
3) Empty Mag Cutoff
4) Quick Change Spring
5) 3 Round Burst
6) Fully MOSFET Controlled
7) Electronic Failure Detection
8) Integral LIPO Monitoring and Protection

While it's a high end gun, it's no more than you'd spend putting that in any other gun. Even trying to make a bare-bones M4 with an advanced MOSFET like that is going to run you $350+ (Yes, the good MOSFETs are $100+), and that doesn't include the quick change spring and nigh-insane gearbox.
