UMP and M14 Randomly stop working

Postby xMyThiicx » Mon Nov 24, 2014 7:55 pm

So i own an ump, it was working and suddenly stopped, it made no noises when it stopped. i dont believe it has anything to do with anything in the gearbox. i think it has to do with a connection or the wiring. i tried 2 diffrent batteries in it, completely charged batterys that work in my other guns. my friend also bought and m14 by cyma and it did the same thing.

Any ideas on what is wrong with them would be helpful.
sorry for the bad grammar,in a hurry

Fuse and/or the motor connections. I've had them slip off the motor terminals before. Also, if you have quick detach connections from the body to the stock, and you tug on the wires, those can come loose. Check all wiring basically.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

Most likely the wires came off the motor connectors. They can be tricky. Work one minute then when you put the plate back on it loosens them up again. Make sure they are on good.

Got the ump apart, got it working again! thanks for the tips. ill take a look at the m14, hopefully the m14 just has loose connection. any suggestions as to how i can keep them from doing it again?
the issue with the ump is wires came out of motor

Crimp them?
Some people directly solder them, but I really don't suggest that.
but yeah, try pinching the female connectors more for a tighter grip
