Here is a link to a decent Lipo and NIMH battery with balance charge available for your lipos as well. Use the coupon code to help knock the price down.

i have a few of these batteries and they will need no change to the gun to run lipo as they have the small tamiya plug already.

This charger is basic and works fine, but it's on backorder right now.

this is the charger that i have and it will charge any and all batteries you'll use for airsoft.

Someday someone may kill you with your own gun, but they should have to beat you to death with it because it is empty

The only thing I would add to this, is that IMO it is a requirement when using lipo batteries is to switch to deans connectors. The reason I say this is due to tamyia being prone to shorting out and having a poor connection, which is the main reason for lipo failure (fire, explosion ect.). deans eliminates that issue and for a $3 or less upgrade you cant go wrong.

Payback wrote:Running a 7.4 lipo will not hurt your gun anymore than running a 9.6 nimh battery. When a company says lipo ready, that's what they are defaulting to, the 7.4v lipo. Any gun that uses a battery can run on a 7.4. Now the 11.1 is a different story.
This. This all day.
