Need help choosing between these 3 M4's please!? (ASAP)

Postby AirsoftGhostCP » Fri Jun 26, 2015 10:52 am

I am interested in buying an M4 that's within my price range. I will be playing outside on feilds most of the time (90%), and then here and there I might play a couple indoor games. I just want the one that is overall the best built quality aeg and the one that will be best for me. I have narrowed down my options to these three aeg's:
1. http://www.airrattle.com/Full-METAL-Bod ... /mp032.htm
2. http://www.airsoftgi.com/product_info.p ... s_id=10086
3. http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/11075-c ... am005.aspx

Thanks!

Look at getting a G&G Raider with a rail system on it. Reason for saying that is it is easier to put lights, scopes, laser or what ever on the rail. Also G&G a much better brand then those you posted and is still in your price range.
Here is a decent gun you can use in both indoor and out door. Use the 20% off code when ordering this or free shipping... http://www.evike.com/products/31809/
Or if you want some extra mags this is a decent decent but I personally don't like the rail.... http://www.evike.com/products/30457/

Thanks for the fast response! I really appreciate the advice, but I was looking to buy a Full Metal construction M4 (full metal receiver and buffer tube). I was looking into some G&G models, but the full metal ones are on the higher end and not really in my budget.

Thank You.

I'm not being mean, just real. You really don't want ANY of the guns you listed.

The lower end G&G's ARE solid, even though they're polymer. (not plastic)
I have one, and man, o' man, it's been through the ringer, and it works fine.

Please, if you have the ability, go purchase your weapon in one of our many great airsoft stores.
They gotta eat too!

And you absolutely can't live without a metal receiver, check out Echo1 or Classic Army.

Dboys is my pick from that list. Their externals aren't the best looking, but they are built well and will last quite some time if maintained correctly. I don't have personal experience with CYMAs M4s, but they make some damn fine AK clones. AGM is kind of "middle of the road". Not the worse, not the best, just average.

If you can save up a bit more, G&P makes a great replica. My Defender is bone stock (save the TBB and bucking) and is still going strong 5 years later. Their externals are also some of the best for the price range. Some complain of their internals, but of the 2 G&Ps I bought new, they have lasted quite a long time (my Mk46 blew up a gearbox after 200k+ rounds.) Of course, that's immaterial if you're not concerned about looks, or you plan on painting the gun.

Finally, Summer Slaughter is coming up in less than a month, and there are ALWAYS great deals on M4s and other guns. More often than not, you'll find someone selling the same gun you're looking at, only with more mags/accessories/batteries/hookers for around the same price. Buying used can be hit or miss which is a downside, but a great way to get started without blowing a bunch of money. Since you're after a model that everyone has/had, you'll have plenty of options to choose from. You can also find a better brand for around the same price.

I agree with Jew, if you are set on a metal body the save up a bit and get a g&p. Or come to summer slaughter and look for a used one for cheap. There are ways to get the gun you want without spending a ton of money. I have yet to pay more than $100 for a gun. And people here will attest to how good my guns are. PM me if you want some pointers on how to do this.

Quick note on the G&G's: the polymer G&G guns are rock solid. And the stock tubes are metal. I've yet to have a problem with a G&G rail being gratuitously out of spec enough to have problems mounting accessories to it, but the same cannot be said about some of the other entry-level guns I've handled.

All of those M4s that you are looking at are over 400fps so not really arena compatible.
I have a G&G M4 like this: http://www.airsoftmegastore.com/9769-co ... b-ncm.aspx and its great for arenas. Although it may only be 350fps
it is still very accurate on the field. I don't know if you have ordered anything off
Airrattle before or not, but I have had some friends who have ordered off of there
before and they have had some issuses. I think the D Boy Full Metal M4 off AirsoftGi
would be a good buy. You get some cool starter accessories and AirsoftGi is a very trusted
airsoft website to order off of. If I was in your shoes then I think I would go for that or the G&G M4. :D
Good Luck!
