I'm thinking I'll be bored enough after work to go up and check the conditions. If I do I'll report back and try to get some pics if it's bad so drivers can decide their fate.

OK here's the sitrep on conditions as of 0030 31DEC2010:
Roads are great for .5 miles then intermittent patches of ice dot the road.
About the 2 mile mark you start hitting more ice and packed snow along with the bigger hills. Nothing I couldn't make it up with 2WD and all terrain tires but did hit some spots where if I stopped the loss of momentum would have caused a slippery start if at all.
Once you hit the two mile mark try not to stop if you don't have 4WD. If you have bald street tires save us the hassle of a road blockage and don't attempt this especially if you have rear wheel drive. Anyone who has never been to the trenches be aware it is a narrow one lane road with turnouts which have snow higher up so take it slow and easy you'll be fine and prevent an accident.
Once at the field the hard part is going to be knowing what your walking on as the place is packed with tons o' snow. Temperature was around 25 degrees while I was up there.
If you have Sprint or Verizon cell service your good once you start up the hill so if you get onto trouble you'll have comms.
I took a few pics up top which is as bad as it gets. Be aware conditions can change between now and Sunday and be sure to dress warm and cover your extremities/ hydrate or you'll regret not doing so.
