So is the ammo restriction 300 rounds in A magazine, or all your magazines?

In all your magazines (for your primary) at any given time. Not including your sidearm.

So you could carry 10 mags loaded to 30 rounds each, or 3 mags loaded with 100 rounds, or 1 mag loaded with 300 rounds.

This isn't a spray and pray skirmish, it'll be enough, and you'll get to reload when you need to.

Is there a +4 to each magazine you include, or is it in your best interest to use one hicap, since 4 rounds out of each mag are usually unusable.
