It worked fairly well for my L96 gave it a nice look as well as quieted it a bit.

Well this rifle isn't the prettiest sniper rifle out there, but man does it get the job done. Stock - This rifle shoots well. The stock 6.06 barrel is better than most sniper rifles out there. It comes well lubricated and sturdy. The bi-pod is a bit wobbly, but I don't plan on using it much.

Although it doesn't come with a manual, it's fairly easy to take apart and upgrade. The advertised upgrade MK96 barrel is a bit long, so you'll need to cut/crown it. I installed the ASR spring upgrade kit and man is it shooting hard. At 80 yards, with .4 BBs, I'm able to hit a torso sized target easily and consistently. I have yet to get it to a chronograph, but I'll assume it's shooting well over 500FPS. For the price, this is an excellent base for a sniper rifle. If you're concerned about the 'look', pretty it up with some Magpul accessories, paint it, whatever. Yes, we know it doesn't resemble any real-world rifle. If you don't like that fact, don't buy it, and don't phony pony about it. Fact of the matter remains, this shoots extremely well for a $110 rifle. This may not be my primary, but it'll sure be fun to pick people off with it.

PROS:
-Easily upgradeable with the Echo1 ASR Spring Upgrade Kit
-Accurate
-Shoots HARD right out of the box
-3x - 22rnd mags = PLENTY of ammo
-Crisp trigger pull
-Easy to disassemble

CONS:
-Ugly - Looks like the bastard child of an L96 & M4
-Not a 'replica'
-No manual
-Bi-Pod is loose
-The advertised upgrade MK96 barrel is too long, has to be cut
-The draw on the bolt is stiff, and the stock is uncomfortable
-Shoots a little loud
-The King Arms M4/M16 FSG1 Style Pistol Grip does not fit.

I checked out the Echo1 ASR, and it certainly looks like the bolt will flip over to the left-hand side if you disassemble and reinstall the handle.

I just purchased one of these off of Airsoft GI with the spring/piston upgrade as well as the 6.01 Precision tightbore. This gun is shooting about 500+ with the parts installed. Should be a good starter sniper...

For those interested in giving this a try, I'll have the rifle at Thunderstrike. I did some creative engineering and put a PSG-1 grip on it, which feels a hell of a lot better. The grip doesn't normally fit, so I had to bolt it into the frame and use some superglue to make sure it was solid. I'm still browsing around for a more comfortable stock. Suggestions?

Its a gun not meant to be.

I feel like a retard suggesting you put a crane stock on you're bolt action sniper rifle.

But its the only thing i could think of. : \

I'll probably be bringing mine to thunderstrike as well. Maybe we could do some comparisons? I'm wondering how much the tightbore 6.01 helps...

It probably doesn't give too much additional accuracy. The 6.01 will be more picky with ammo. The accuracy was great even with the stock barrel.

If I show up to Thunderstrike (still tentative) I'd love to see these ASR's, especially if they can be flipped for southpaw use. As for a stock, have you looked @ the Magpul PRS series?

It just doesn't look right. Its a not even a real gun (replica).

Its not attractive, for me at least.

Why in the list of pro's and con's set before does it say "not a replica" ?

I'm confused, but none the less its still ugly. like my face.
