Sniper Rifle- What's a good choice

So i am saving money to buy my first airsoft sniper rifle. i have not owned any gun and this will be my first :D. i am wondering what is a good and not to expensive beginer rifle is. if you could help me out i would really appreciate it.

You can get a nice cheap $100 sniper. But you have to use heavier bbs, and upgrade a lot before it's any good.

i was planing on .25 bb's and what upgrades would be needed

Buy and learn to use an AEG first. This is not COD... You have to master a DMR rifle, trigger control and shot placement before you should consider buying a sniper rifle for serious use. (it takes lots more money time and effort to create a functioning sniper rifle than a decent AEG)...

Also to add to this, most AEG's will match or exceed the performance of a stock sniper rifle.

And, THANK YOU for saying sniper rifle instead of just "sniper". Saves me some typing.

never ever get a UTG master sniper. They are horribly built and not upgradable.

Get a JG BAR-10, google it.
