beginner sniper

I have a kwa M4 and do not want to keep an AEG. What is the best beginner sniper for around 100 dollars that i could immediately upgrade.

I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

For that you might get a base gun, but you're best option would be to watch the classified ad's.

I have been looking at the stickies but they just talk about more advanced snipers. Also since jg is banned, now i can no longer get a bar 10 so i am looking for another cheap decent base gun.

You really need more than just the rifle. If you aren't going to build a ghillie and get yourself a decent radio with a throat mic, you'll be useless to your team at major OPs as a sniper. There's too many damn kids running around with bolt action snipers getting their asses handed to them by riflemen who know how to flank. OPs are won by riflemen and squad gunners.

Unless you are interested in really hitting the bush and being sneaky, I'd advise you keep your M4. It's a more versatile platform.

I Have an m16 and sneak around with 1 or more guys. 400fps, .25's, a 500mm+ barrel is really all you need IMO.

but if you really want to be a sniper, go ahead. As long as your good at it no one will give you crap. There are dozens of threads concerning this.

I tried that, but i did not like it as much as sitting there and sneaking around with a sniper rifle and ghillie. So any suggestions on a base gun for around 100 dollars. i just need suggestions of any sort right now.

For $100 any bolt action replica you buy will shoot inferior to your KWA. For that matter, with less than $100 of upgrades (6.01 barrel, h-nub) your KWA will outshoot almost any baseline bolt gun.

How much experience do you have with the M4 spaz, how many games/skirms have you attended so far and what exactly did you do in those times.

A DMR would be a good idea but you have the cqb. +1 for the comment saying getting a 6.01 tightbore and new hop up and whatnot. it would go as far as any bolt action thats 100 dollars

Sell it, get a longer barreled AEG.

We see a lot of these "beginner sniper" threads. If you are willing to drop about $500 or so on your platform, go for it. If you think getting a UTG L96 or BAR-10 will make you a sniper, well.....have fun getting shot a lot.

that new javelin works m24 on GI seems a fair option. i think the kwa should be convertable if you changed to inner barrel and added a supresor, along with one of the "golden rule"s recomendations on cylinders. these guys are right, the bolt platform in itself does not a sniper make, the mic and the guillie are nearly mandatory for effectiveness, otherwise carrying the bolt just becomes a disadvantage compaired to a rifleman.
forgive my ignorance, it happens to everyone.
