dragunov svd. most powerful AEG spring

Postby mcninja242324 » Tue Nov 23, 2010 3:30 pm

the a and k dragunov svd uses aeg springs, and i want the most powerful. it has an extremely solid construction and can take mostly anything.
i was looking at a systema m170 spring, those look great, but is there anyhting better?
also if there are any questions about the dragunov, ive had it for about a year now.

thanks!

MAG Makes an M190. You more than likely won't be able to pull it back.

It would also be way too inaccurate.

The sears in the A&K arent the greatest either, so if you run a spring that hot expect sear failure in the future. They're a zinc/aluminum alloy that is pretty soft.
And they dont make replacements from what I've seen so far.

My buddy has one thats using a bone stock spring and it has shit-tons of wear on it from very little usage.

Yea, he's gonna be not-so-happy when he finds that out. He's already considered buying another one just for a spare parts gun, but now I bet he's gonna do it just to get the upgraded gun and relegate the old one to the parts bin..

Really, I had to down grade my spring so that the sear wouldn't fail in the cold. Also were does one get this gen. 2 SVD and when did it come out?
