hey all, KA-BAR here...

lets do this.

This contest is a KA-BAR production.

to enter all you need to have is a bolt action rifle. i dont care if it is gas or spring powered, it just MUST BE A BOLT ACTION.

i dont care if you built it ten years ago or just glued it together in your garage the day of the contest.


rules for entry

#1. must meet all saftey standards for Airsoftpacific.com
#2. must be a bolt action rifle

that is it.


criteria for judging

we dont care how unique you think your crappy platform looks. all we care about here is functionality. can it shoot and shoot well.

you will be judged on the following

#1 maintaining well under the saftey standard. if you chrono over 550 you get docked points.
#2 your 5 shot groupings at a target placed at a unknown distance ( under 100 yards)
#3 you knowledge and work put into the platform itself. if all you did was install some after market parts, then the guy who tinkered and laboured over polishing parts will probably place much higher then you.

points system

- 50 pts for over chrono/breaking saftey standards

1st place groupings gets +100 pts
2nd place groupings get +75 points
3rdplace groupings get +50

+125 bonus pts for accurately estimating the targets range with info provided at event.

1st place knowledge/internals report +100
2nd place knowledge/internals report +75
3rd place knowledge/internals report +50


what is a knowledge and internals report? it is a short written report of what parts and mods you did during your build. based off of your delivery and complete knowledge, do you know all of the parts and variables in your build. how well do you know it. what procedures did you take to mitigate malfunctions and failures. all of this will come into account when judging your report. this does not need to be a long disortation, or essay. it can be short as you are comfortable with and still get the required points across. this is not a spelling or grammar test, but having literacy helps.

i will be making the winners some custom digital flair, for them to portray in or on thier sig bar area, so that every time you post, everyone will know, who built the most accurized bolt action rifle in this community of airsofters.

3rd place wins a custom made sig bar merit tab




i will not be competing, i will be judging. i dont like handing myself trophies.

2.) A springer UZI that shoots 550 counts?

if you get a spring uzi up to spec, ill let you shoot it. just because i know you cant.
