SW Barrett M82

I recently discovered this rifle, and please forgive me if this should have gone in the AEG section, But does anyone own or have experience with this gun? From what ive read its a clone but it preforms almost as well as the Socom Gear.

probably weights more then you do. you will field it at one game, then it will wind up in the classifieds.

i agree with ka-bar on his points.

that gun has far more drawbacks than can make up for it's looks. it combines the efectivity of an AR with 1.5 times the weight of an LMG.

You don't want this gun.

Your pretty much paying for a pretty M4. I mean com'on a automatic .50cal SNIPER? Lame

Also the barrel doesn't reach the end of the barrel and is not even supported. It's literally just sticking out of the gearbox unsupported.

Lame .50cal airsoft gun is lame

Like I stated in another thread, Full Auto capable =/<400 Fps. Pointless.

Well you are meant to use Semi, and because its a ver. 2 semi locks up on occasion so full auto is to unlock it. But i am guessing a lot of people just run around using full auto, and yes it is not 1:1 scale, and is much lighter that the Socom

Looks cool, but you won't like using it.

If you have a good motor and battery, your gun won't lock up on semi.
For every action (Bang) there is an equal and opposite reaction (HIT!)

But any AEG capable of full auto in AP is held to the same rules, so this 100,000,000lb Barrett has to follow the same rules as an MP5K

If for whatever reason you do want an airsoft .50 cal, don't get a full auto one and save a hundred dollars by getting a bolt action .50cal, similar in almost every way, down to the M4 internals and everything!
