Its a cool factor thing, since it still shoots BBs...

For the size and weight I'd rather have a m240B

I think it would only have that cool factor if it was shell ejecting.

I would deal with the pain just to look that B.A!!! Not sure how long I would last running around with a 27 pound gun in my spindly, little Track runner arms...but I would still look B.A

I like the fact that the 'A2 is more compact, but it lacks the "I'm a rifle meant to wreak havoc" factor. Looks more like a poorly proportioned TAR/AUG...
In airsoft, an LMG/MMG would be much more effective.

from what I hear most airsoft replicas of this fun ain't that accurate (bout same as m4) only thing its got going for it is cool factor. If I bought one is for hanging on wall or just so I can say I have a barret .50

I still think it would be cooler if SOCOM Gear made a shell ejecting M82 instead. I mean, if we're going to talk about the most impractical gun in airsoft, might as well bring it up. ;)

If you could hide it some how in a good position that you could get to then it might be of some use, the trick with that is getting to the position once the game starts and picking a very good location.

A month old isn't necro. And for airsoft, the size vs. fire power for a rifle like this makes it useless.

Heh. That seems a bit ridiculous, but what ever.
