8mm sizing

so im working on a custom project, and i need to know the average diameter of an 8mm BB. i know most 6mm BBs are actually more like 5.95mm, so im assuming 8mm is similar but i need specifics. does anyone know the actual diameter of an 8mm round? i have some BBs, but no micrometer to measure them. i need as exact as possible, im looking for brass tube stock for barrels and need to know how close i can get on the inner diameter tolerances.

ok thanks guns. i found some chinese sizing saying they are 7.95+/- .0015 which is what i was guessing at, but i dont really trust the chinese. i want to see for myself.
