TSD L96 (WELL MB01)

Postby Russkie » Mon Mar 07, 2011 8:45 pm

Good day, gents. I was just wondering if you could help me pick out some parts in order to upgrade a TSD L96 (WELL MB01).

A friend of mine gave it to me for upgrades, but I haven't really gone in to upgrading one before (I've fixed one before, so I know how they work).

Anyway, he is looking to go pretty far with this and will purchase what ever allows him to have some great performance. He's looking to get maximum range and accuracy. He'd like the FPS to be no more that 550.

Also, he's looking at getting a decent rifle scope, but nothing too expensive (tops like $70).

Thanks.

Mad Bull 6.04mm Barrel

Echo 1 Upgrade Kit

UTG 4x32mm Scope with Rings

$125 total, and that's gonna get it shooting pretty nicely. the upgrade kit and barrel typically gets them shooting at right around 550fps, and the barrel helps quite a bit with accuracy. you could splurge a little on the scope, but anything over 4x magnification isn't really that useful for airsoft. also make sure you get rings if the optic doesn't come with them.

Just from what I have observed and done in my old M700:
Don't neglect to "shim" the barrel; I used teflon (plumbers) tape. This helped with the shot-to-shot consistency.
