i would get a vsr clone like the well mb03 and use those upgrades but you would need a longer TBB

People I asked about the parts list. I am considering the L96 but am pretty dead set on my BAR-10. If i was to get an L96, I would get the UTG

TSD M700 (VSR10 clone) for the base.

You don't need a million upgrades to get a good rifle. My list is as follows:

-Laylax dampener piston cylinder head
-ASGI piston
-m145 spring (450fps)
-Precision Shot industries 6.02mm 510mm inner barrel
-Firefly soft hop up bucking

I have perfect compression, and get ridiculous accuracy/consistency out of it. Keep in mind you can't just throw the part is and expect it to perform awesome. It's taken me over 100 hours to get it to where it is, and I'm constantly tweaking it. You have to have patience to work on bolt actions.

I realize I can't just throw up a parts list, but I figure if I get reliable parts and tune it properly, it will last me a good while. And if you could have seen the trouble my CA G36 gave me.. I think I have earned patience :)

Sidenote: PSI barrels are brass correct?

PSI barrels are steel, hand made by one of the most respected bolt turners in this community.

Ah thanks Jester. I ordered the TSD today. Decided the $20 for the JG wasn't worth it

Both my AEG's have PSI barrels. They're good stuff.

For a bolt action, the barrel is the one thing you do NOT want to skimp out on. Spend the money on a high quality one.
