I think one of the best looking bolt guns due to the magazine being in the correct spot. There are upgrade parts for the cylinder as well so you can get it shooting like you need it to.

"one of the best looking bolt guns.." Agreed, and "there are upgrade parts for the cylinder" awesome. I also like the build. I've had a hard time finding a bolt that 1) has nice external quality and 2) is viciously accurate from the box.

Hellloooo?! Most bolts are the opposite. What about us idiots that don't have the skills or desire to do KA-BAR style upgrades and work?

This gun may need some cylinder/piston work to achieve the desired range, but I'm up for that. If you want an AEG, you can just spend an enormous amount of money and have an accurate gun. I havent found an equivalent bolt savior for me yet.

I'm open for other suggestions too, if anyone can think of some. But of course I think this^ is cool, so more to be said on it.

the TM L96 is the best replica of a .338 lapua AIWC i have ever seen. if i was to get a L96 this is what i would get if money was no object. i do not know what upgrade parts the TM accepts....VSR or Maruzen. so i just dont know.

still a hot gun though.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

The following places are (currently) negatory in both black and OD variants:

redwolf
airsoft atlanta [from the dirty south]
ehobby asia
tokyohobby.net
evike (airsoftpost)
precision airsoft

Ok men. I think I may want to purchase one. Here's my dilema, any help would be appreciated.

Due to personal bias and a strong desire to use at least 0.28g BBs, I'd like to have it shooting in the neighborhood of 380 to 430 FPS. Can this be achieved without letting the faires out? I'm scared.

If it was an AEG I wouldn't screw with it. I'm just worried I'd feel insecure having my only CQB-legal rifle be a bolt :)

I dont wanna be stuck with a velocity that forces me to use 0.25g BBs or lighter, because the wind plays havoc on their trajectory at range. If I'm gonna have a bolt, I want to be using heavier BBs than are in my AEGs.

Thanks again! Especially if anybody has had good experience with "upgrading" Maruis or the TM L96 in specific, I want to hear from you!

Anybody know if Marui hop-ups can lift heavy BBs?

I know their hopups are "good." Although, since their guns come shooting soft, I have a worry that their hopups would be tailored to BBs not much more than 0.25g in weight.

If anyone can affirm or refute this, or my previous inquiry, that would be greatly appreciated!

I have a vsr that shoots 540fps using a stock TM bucking out of a GSpec and it flies FOREVER, hopefully that answers your question

*edit* I run .27's and .3s
