would anyone recommend this rifle to me I have the money for it.
But I have heard mixed reviews of it.

If you're an avid collector, it might be worth it for the cool historic factor. But it would basically not be skirmishable at all. I think its 1 shot per shell, bolt action, and the shells eject. That's cool, but it means you'd have to pick up and reload shells after every shot. Even if you were able to upgrade it to be insanely accurate with incredible range, that would be a major drawback, because even a cheap bolt action rifle will have at least about 20 rounds in a magazine.

And I hear that it is not good at all in terms of stock performance... and that it has a two piece inner barrel.

I personally think if you designate it to a strictly target/plinking rifle, it wouldn't be a problem. After all, it isn't terribly expensive. But as was stated before, a practical skirmish/reenactment the Dboys K98 does not make.
