I just recently bought a M187D and I was wondering if anyone has this rifle and is it any good?

Doesn't really matter since you already purchased it. Never amazes me that people would wait till AFTER they place their order to ask if what they ordered is a total POS or not.
Its decent. Upgrades are expensive and hard to come by. The 550 that it is shooting is the most you will be able to take it to unless you replace a lot of stuff.

I just want opinions. Saying "You should have asked first" isn't productive and not needed here. I bought it because i liked it, just wanted to hear other peoples stories.

ps: i did do my research before buying

It's a CYMA. It's cheap. It's a snipx0r rifle. It's lame.

There's my opinion.

An expensive gun doesn't make a good player. In my experience, the people with expensive guns are usually the ones who get complained about for bad sportsmanship. Some of us just don't have the money, doesn't mean we're cheap. This gun only cost me 55$ and is brand new

No but a player can never be great if their tools are cheap. How many mechanics do you know that buy their everyday tools from Harbor Freight? Not any that are worth a damn. They buy snap on. Because those tools are quality you can rely on. The same holds true here. Yes you can get a cheap gun but you will be limited by the capabilities of that tool.

And anyways if you did your research before buying then what is even the point of this thread?

I am not limited my $125 gun. Just limited on events I go too because I am working all the time. : )

Still, I won't spend over 60 bucks on a toy. Big bills are for real guns :P

Then you will never truly be able to compete. We're not saying you have to go drop $600 on a OOB3R SOOP3R AEG, but expect that you should drop at least $200 for something truly skirmishable.

Oh, you live in Keizer. Did you go to school there, too? That makes this whole thread make more sense if that's the case.
