MK96s made by Well, UTG, and other cheaper, low-level companies all have the same pieces when it comes to internals, and the Maruzen APS2 shares many similarities.
Nobody ever told me that the two different styles had different bolt handles, or even mentioned it, so when It came time to purchase a new Cylinder, APS2 seemed like the way to go. All of the other parts that I have for my G-22 (MK96 remake) that were intended for APS2 fit perfectly in my gun. This includes the barrel, sear set, trigger housing, and now the cylinder.
the cylinder fits fine in my gun, all right, but the MK96 bolt handle is too wide in diameter to fit properly on the mounting tube of the back of the cylinder.
I found the piece I need; and original right-handed APS2 bolt handle, but it will be more than another $100 to buy.
Does anybody know of any cheaper handles, or have one that they could sell to me? If not, then what is a way to remedy the situation with what I have?
