Aluminum bbs?

Postby God » Fri Jan 27, 2012 8:26 pm

Just wondering if ICS .30 ALUMINUM bbs are okay to use on fields? They're still 6mm bbs...

Same Q for .40 bbs/.43 bbs...

alumina is a natural pure aluminum is not
by your definition lead is also a natural element. i don't think people would want to use those though

plastic bbs flex on impact dispersing much of that energy safely. how much do you suppose an aluminum bb is going to flex? unsafe.

Aluminum bb's aren't bio degradable, at least in any reasonable period of time... I have some aluminum bbs in my back yard from YEARS ago that are still fine.

As a field owner I will not allow them here. I think that they would be unsafe and they will not break down in a reasonable time.

I'm pretty sure that on the packaging on most of the aluminum BBs it says that they are for target practice only, and not for play.
My father once told me, "Some times all you have is a bullet and a prayer, don't miss."
