I think the SR25 is an EBR by definition? I don't believe there is such a thing as a SR25 EBR.

I know, I asked which do you prefer a SR-25 or an M21EBR? sry for the confusion... if there is any... i dont see them as the same guns at all, i think of a M21EBR just like an M14. Then there the SR-25 which is more like a "combat rifle" of sort more close and personal than an M21EBR but its up to you.

Ah, I see. You said "of" instead of "over". I thought you meant you preferred and SR25 of the EBR variety, instead of "Over the EBR".

The M21EBR is heavy and bulky. But I suppose if you actually use it how it's meant instead of how the majority of kids use it, it doesn't matter. Same with the SR25.

I usually don't like the EBR, but I actually kinda like the Mod1 version with the M4 stock. Never been a fan of wire stocks.
Also, if it was me, I would go with the SR25, but turn it into a mid length "battle" rifle.
Additionally, plain m14 = sexxy.

Lets be frank, if you want an EBR like that one in the picture...start bulking up. Your arm will fall off. Thats a G&G replica of the real steel version.
But in all cases, get an SR25. The brand of gun is up to you.

I have owned two SR25's, and an M14EBR.

The SR25 is a good platform. I like it 'cause I am an M4 Whore, and it feels like a heavy, fat M4 with gi-normous mags.

The EBR looks very cool. It is hella heavy, and in addition, it has all manner of crap to get caught on. If you want the accuracy and performance of an M14, get a match or SOCOM. Same performance as the EBR, half the weight and aggravation...at least in airsoft.

My vote? SR25. Cleaner design, better balance, same range and performance as the EBR...again, speaking in airsoft.

I'm not a huge fan of western weapons (SVD > either), but between the two, the SR25 definitely gets my vote for the better all-around choice, airsoft wise. The EBR is heavy, bulky, and you dont get any ADVANTAGE out of that heft (unless you want to beat someone to death with it)

I know this is slightly out of the bounds of the discussion but after using both an SR25 and a normal M14, the M14 is definitely a solid choice. Granted, a cheek riser of some sort is needed if you want to use a scope, but after that its a great rifle.

That is unless you're an RIS-accessory whore. if that's the case then you should get the SR25.

Pretty sure there's no such thing as an M21EBR. I hate CoD.
