Sniper MAGs and the sniper.

Postby Sonic » Mon Mar 26, 2012 7:35 pm

I was wondering if anyone has a good arguement on the topic of push mags (two stage magazine vs. the normal midcap mag (sping fed) I have only had one kind of mag on my sniper and it was a normal mag no push load stuff. I have been seeing lately that more push style mags are coming out and wheening out the normal style. I am looking for a new sniper and I don't know if I want to deal with a push mag. On the other hand, many people are using them and I have only used one once so I only know through other people.

If your sniper has to be fed with mags, you need a new sniper.

I recommend one who can be fed a healthy diet of veggies, protein, and fruits. Or who can feed themselves. Snipers are delicate and should be cared for accordingly.

Those look delicious.

I should feed mine those.

I'll take your old sniper. I've always wanted to care for one. And feed it.

Push mags? Are you talking about the type that are used in most bolt rifles which are pushed into the body?

As opposed to the mags that aren't pushed into the rifle?

It's a two stage mag that you press into the rifle to feed the next bb.
at first I thought shooting people with BB guns was violent, cruel, and demeening to the loser.
I later found out that it is all of that and much more.

Also, I could just be misunderstanding the mag.

It clicks into the magwell and stays. Once it is inserted, the only time you should have to touch it is to remove it to put more bb's in it.

The APS2 mags have that funny top part that serves very little purpose in my experience. But I don't use an APS2. I use a VSR-10.

It doesn't serve any purpose that I've seen, having used an APS2 platform. Just makes the magazines kind of a tool when it comes time to put them in a pistol magazine pouch.

Ok, so what is the benefit of having this style vs a spring tension, or is it all the same mag?
