barrels.

Couldn't find anything specific to this but i just had some questions. What have your experiences been with tightbore (6.01) barrels been? i'm trying to find a good one to put in my rifle, was thinking a madbull barrel made of aircraft aluminum but everything's always out of stock it seems, (evike) was looking at this barrel but not sure about the materials, anodized aluminum might eventually dent from the bbs.

Plastic bbs wont mess up your barrel. If they even had a chance of it, the stock brass barrels are weaker than the aluminum ones.... 6.01mm tightbores don't make your gun jam, even if you don't clean it. They don't really require any extra treatment at all.

alright i had heard before that the stock barrels will eventually dent and form grooves that mess with accuracy. Putting it in a vsr-10 compatible r700. (special hopup to accommodate aeg barrels.

All the 6.01mm and 6.02mm barrels I've seen are hit and miss. Some are great some don't work.

They do require more cleaning than other barrels. My 6.02 would require cleaning every game or it'd start to shoot like shit about halfway through the second game (based on average usage).

I'd suggest a Dee's barrel. I've never used one in a bolt, but I have 3 of them in my AEGs and they shoot laser beams of death. I've only cleaned them after playing in ferns in the summer as the fern pollen gets in EVERYTHING.
