I own like 3 of these SNIPERS, I don't even use scopes they're so accurate.

A must buy.

Seriously though, save your precious pennies and get an AEG.

Save your money for college, for the price of that rifle, you could almost buy one textbook.

Naw, by the time he gets to college that rifle will buy half a textbook, even if he puts in a savings account.

I'd make some snide comment about how his lack of grammar would keep him out of college, but that would be an (unfortunate) lie.

In his defense, my grammar sucked until I took college writing classes. Well, that and discovered spell-check for web browsers.

Also, if you are serious about getting a bolt action rifle, buy a Bar-10 clone like the JG (not a Well, the cylinder is a wonky diameter) or get an equally easily upgradeable platform like the APS-2s. This is, of course, if you have the cash to upgrade it :P

Actually that rifle isn't bad... It best suits beginners, due to the lack of durability, but it has the same compression and trigger system as the VSR. The accuracy on this thing sucks, and upgrading is sort of a waste of money because of the cheapness of the body.

Pretty much the same thing is true about this sniper rifle as every other low-end bolt action out there. EVERYTHING WILL BREAK, so be prepared to upgrade right away.

There's that new Echo 1 that is supposed to be fantastic. Ka-Bar did a post on it here. Considering that write up, and the comments I've heard from Rapture (who owns one), and the cost, I'd shell out the extra $72 and pick up this.

In all seriousness, Sniper Rifles aren't for mucking about with without a LOT of research and potential parts money. This seems to be the first viable out-of-the-box rifle that actually does what it promises. Don't buy this thing you've found, you'll waste your money and hate it and the community here will just shake its collective head.

Good luck!

I never cared about my grammar until AP and the grammar boyz here. I'm still always wondering if i'm getting it correct.

For the love of God and all things good and holy: DO NOT BUY A BOLT ACTION RIFLE**

**unless you plan on putting the time and money into a solid platform like the JG/TM BAR10, APS2, or L96 platform/M99. You've also got to be disciplined about your minimum safe distances, have good field-sense, and self-discipline. Don't be stupid, read through all KA-BAR's topics in the "Bolt Action" section and then decide if you'd rather not spend that money on something more "field ready" out of the box. Unless done right you won't have any fun with a sniper rifle.
