Y&P Mk23

Discussion of GBB (gas blowback) replicas.

Y&P Mk23

Postby Jester316 » Mon Jan 18, 2010 4:07 pm

I just got one, and it seems good for the money ($35). I have 4 other GBB's and wanted to see what I can do with this one. Does anyone know how to remove the inner barrel from the supressor? I don't really need the extra length. I just want to see how quiet I can get this thing. I'd rather not buy the King Arms Mk23 superssor. I think here have been some people in this community who have done it, I was just wondering how. Any help would be appreciated.

My friend bought one, but he broke it before he even shot it. I'm not sure what he did to it though, but it wouldn't fire.

I would love the KSC version. But I got this one for $35. Like I said, I'm happy for the money I spent.

Even I want a KSC MK23 gbb... And I own 3 TM MK23's and use 1 at every event...

I don't know an exact answer to your question jester, but on the TM suppressor the one end unscrews so you can remove the foam... I'm assuming the Y&P end is glued on, but you may be able to remove it, cut out the center tube (the part that lengthens the barrel) and then glue it back on... having only seen one once. that is my suggestion. I can send pictures of the TM one taken apart if needed.

Rentax was right. I accidentally broke mine off at one point after quickly taking a corner to sharp and slamming the suppressor into the wall. However, it was easily reattached with some super glue. If I recall the back part of the suppressor that screws onto the barrel will come off and you will be able to remove the inner barrel.
