Hey guys Id like to share some more recent news about the Polarstar releases.
As its been previously said the great part of this gun that separates it from a AEG or a GBB and makes it truly as polarstar calls it a Fusion Engine is that not only can you adjust the ROF from about 12 rounds a second to upwards of 30 rounds a second, its also very easy to adjust FPS, the guns are designed to operate within 90 PSI to 120 PSI, which allows for variable FPS based on pressure. Polarstar went further by developing nozzles which also regulate FPS so you can for example have a rifle that is capable of a range of FPS based on what nozzle you use.

With HPA there's always the doubt thats presented "whats to stop someone from cranking the FPS outside of the field limits. Polarstar's answer is the nozzle.
But these two things have been covered already in simplicity earlier. What makes this gun a winner in my book is the "nozzle dwell" control that the Polarstar FCU allows. Feeding different kinds of magazines in your rifle can be tricky. In some notable examples like KWA rifles they can be very picky about which mags they feed. Polarstar's Fusion engine FCU can control how long the nozzle dwells in the magwell. Fine Tuning of the Nozzle Dwell allows for accurate BB feeding with any magazine
Polarstar themselves describe this fuction as:"
Nozzle Dwell emulates what a Sector Clip would do in an AEG. Simply put, it controls how long the Air Nozzle remains rearward. Adjusting this number would allow for proper and consistent feeding with most magazines. Given that some magazine springs/followers are weaker than others, this enables you to tune the system to feed your weakest magazine."
From the Fusion Engine manual "dn – Nozzle Dwell
The nozzle dwell variable controls how long power is applied to the nozzle solenoid, affecting the
time that the nozzle is held rearward. The higher the value, the longer the nozzle is held to the rear,
which allows tuning for slower feeding magazines.
dp – Poppet Dwell
The poppet dwell variable controls how long power is applied to the poppet solenoid, affecting the
duration for which the firing valve is held open and allows adjustment of the gas volume released.
The higher the value, the longer the poppet is held open. There is an internal base dwell of 2ms.
This is added to the value shown on the LCD ( 0.1ms increments). For example, the recommended
value of “20” produces 2ms + (0.1ms x 20) = 4ms total dwell"
The cost of the Fusion engine is $425 you need a tank, line and regulartor that will regulate it down to 120 max to run it and that is an additional cost to consider
Polarstar has partnered with VFC to make the actual gun itself the PR 15 which is available in 3 configurations
The guns are VFC guns on the outside and the hopup and inner barrel. Fusion Engine on the inside.
Carbine or 14.5'' Length for 625.00

CQBR or 10.5" length also for 625.00
Also available is their "tactical carbine" which has a flip up front and rear sight, a rail system and a crane stock for 680.00
All in all as soon as the funds are available I'm going to be picking up one of theses Engines to run in my spare G&P body, and if it impresses me I will probably convert my one of my other G&P Lower bodies to it as well
