I have owned WA's, and their SCW3 system is the only one that competes with the NS2 and TM plastic slide type gas conservation.

WA's are nice if youre shooting IPSC, but I would still invest in a KWA or a TM for the current market. I assume by the fact that you've had so many pistols that you don't do your own maintenance. If thats the case, DONT buy the WA. You will regret it if you don't know how to work on GBBs.

If you do buy it. Don't run it on propane. 134a and duster only.

Okay, that rules it out. I do my own maintenance, just like my RS weapons, but I've just had problems with plastic breaking. I'm not incompetent, just unlucky.

ADDITION: The GBB must be able to run on propane!

With WA's, they're an investment. Be prepared to upgrade them. That said, the actual internal parts of them are fantastic, but I highly suggest making sure that if you're into that get one that you can buy a metal slide for. Nobody has in stock the slide for my SV Infinity (it's the 6" model). Even so, I've had no issues with it, it shoots great, kicks like a mule and shoots pretty hard as well (it is not a CQC gun on propane).

Otherwise, TM. TMs are great, plain and simple.

Currently liking the TM MK23 and P226.
However, HFC134a is not exciting me...

Don't buy a Mk23 unless you want a pistol as big as you.

Their 226s are great. I bought mine off Millwe who had it for god knows how long and its running just fine on green gas. I know Nasty ran his 226 on green gas as well and the only thing that went wrong is the valve knocker kerploded (but its a common problem with both the TM and KJW 226s).

How does the TM P226 compare to the KWA P226?

The TM is plastic, the KWA has a metal frame and slide.

The TM in the past has been more reliable, but the new KWA's have replaced weak parts from the older models, and I've seen great results with them.

KWA's warranty is superb, and if you have any issues (which we haven't in the last couple dozen), they're really good about taking care of it completely.

I'm getting bored. Everyone has made their suggetsions, Just pick one already.

KWA: full Metal NS2
TM: Plastic slide, legendary TM reliability

Both are very good guns, it obviously just comes down to personal preference. Buy one or buy both. There's nothing else that needs to be said.

My KWA P226 PTP had multiple issues. Supposedly they have been fixed in the recent generations, but I'm not so sure about them. Mine is sitting in pieces because I haven't had the time to ship it off to KWA, but this would be the 3rd time I've had to have the same part replaced.

Great. I'll probably end up picking a KWA 1911 (fondled one at Res III) and a TM P226 over the summer.
2 jobs FTW!

Thank you all. Jester, Sir; I hope you get your weapon fixed. I've had my WE devour 3 loading nozzles...

HFC134A is not bad at all...you just have to get a higher quality HC134A. I used to be a green gas and propane fanatic like many others who wanted more power and force to expel the BB's harder and farther..etc and then I finally learned that HFC134A wasn't all that bad as long as I bought quality HFC134A or quality duster gas.

We run fully upgraded (Guarder...inside and out) TM P226's with no issues.
