Glock with most realistic trigger reset

Discussion of GBB (gas blowback) replicas.

Glock with most realistic trigger reset

Postby weasle8877 » Sat Jun 11, 2011 6:36 pm

Hey guys, I have a question for those of you glock owners in both the airsoft and shooting world. I want an gbb glock that best simulates the trigger reset of a real glock. Airsoft has gotten me in the bad habbit of taking my finger off the trigger after pulling it, and I thought I could retrain myself if I had an accurate replica to practice with.

My KWA has a decent reset (I don't have to completely remove my finger from the trigger...).

KWA and KSC are identical in the trigger function. KSC (which you will have to get out of country) has the small trigger lever identical to the real Glock. You are not going to get the "speed trigger " function that you will on a real Glock from a GBB ( speed trigger or short stroking, is about 1/4 length pull on rapid fire after 1st shot on RS Glock)

I have carried ./ owned multiple RS Glocks over the years. The KSC GBB is my favorite and most similar to what I know. P.S. I am a RS Glock armorer.

Regarding taking your finger off of the trigger, that is not uncommon with actual shooters. I have found myself doing it from time to time. Just consciously practice shooting slowly and deliberately focusing on the bad habit that you are trying to break. Speed comes with repetition and smoothness. Slow down focus and you can retrain your muscle memory. It takes lots of reps to do this. With the Glock, just allow the trigger to rebound until you feel the trigger bar re engage, then press it again.....repeat.

Does anyone here have a TM glock that could chime in? I'd be curious how it compares to the KSC one.

Don't get caught up in trigger reset.

Proper trigger control is the thing that I need to practice on the most. I want to use airsoft to get proper muscle memory so having a realistic airsoft gun is very important to me. Also the one mechanical function that I think many airsoft guns are bad at replicating is the trigger pull and reset.
So in short, trigger reset is very important to me.
