Discussion of GBB (gas blowback) replicas.

What's YOUR sidearm(mainly asking snipers..)?

Postby God » Thu Jul 21, 2011 8:42 am

I am trying to do a bit of a poll on what gbb is most preferred for the snipers we have in the community. I was thinking the good old KWA M93R might be good, due to that I could throw a standard M9 PTP mag in it to fit in a holster, then carry a 50rnd mag for the M93R. But it feels kind of bulky...

What do you guys prefer? I'm expecting to hear lots of the KWA Glocks or WE 1911s... But still...

Stop asking to be spoon fed every bit of information. Do your own leg work...

Honestly I'm not sure why anyone would want to know the carry preferences of other people If you know all the options out there pick one that fits you. I'm am curious to see who in the community considers themselves a sniper though

Moving right along:
I haven't run a bolt in over 6 months, but I still carry a sidearm for up close and personal "work".
I have a TM 1911 that works well by itself, and a KSC 1911 with 5 magazines that doubles as my indoor primary. I've had WE's in the past and was never a fan of their High-Capa's but they have some solid single stacks.

To the "whys?"... Because it's interesting to see what the people in the area use. Where the hell am I going to find what sidearm people use in the AIRSOFTPACIFIC.COM community (key words, I said "IN THE COMMUNITY") besides on AIRSOFTPACIFIC.COM? Am I going to ask AirsoftOhio? No. Read before you whine, please. Or maybe I should send out 10k personal messages, yeah, that'd be so sensibul and efficient.

My secondary is a 12 gauge trishot.

But I'm not a sniper. Sorry, Pac.

USP's are my preference, especially the kwa series. The NS2 KP45 (not tactical) is an excellent extra to your sniper load especially when dragging through wooded areas. You can drag the gun in the dirt (not recommended) and pull it out knowing it'll still do what it was supposed to do. Just make sure you clean it before hand. A BIG plus with the ns2 is you know that the mag holds enough gas to pop off a full mag and a half before it goes down. Other gbbp, like the we tech 1911, i noticed would have problems with running out of gas before ammo. This could be a very big problem when you are confronted with some "spray and prayer". Nothing more frustrating than a click rather than a pop as youre about to take out a close opponent unexpectedly. So KWA KP45 Ns2 is what i rock. 8)
